Post Sliding Menu Bars (Drop Down) - creating and editing with Bluevoda website builder





Drop down menus also known as "sliding menus" are very useful if you have lots of page and you want your website to appear organized.

The process is similar to inserting a regular Menu Bar. Refer to the left tool bar inside the website builder to locate the icon for the Sliding Menu Bar. Start by naming your first category in the website builder Sliding Menu Bar window. Keep the title short and relevant. If you are selecting a page from within your website, make sure you always add the tag “.html” at the end of your url name. Decide when you create website, whether you meant the new page to open in a new window (recommended) or if you want to have the page simply roll over to the next. Now comes the fun part! Using the same method in the Sliding Menu Bar window in the website builder, add in your sub menu items that will show when the menu “drops down.” Determine whether you would like to create website with a horizontal or vertical menu bar and add in the information in the website builder exactly as you did before for the first menu item. Continue using the website builder to add in as many sub menu items as you need.

Before you finish this part of create website, click on the Preview icon in the upper tool bar and review the work you did with the website builder! Take you mouse and slide over the main headings of your menu in the website builder. All of your sub entries should appear instantly. Congratulations!
