If you only just learning to create website, then you may not yet be familiar with Inline Frames. Inline Frames, also referred to as iframes, are a self contained independent frame or box on your web page that has it’s own scroll bar for its own content. The iframe is basically another way to differentiate particular information on your web pages. You may have seen them on other websites when you were thinking to create website. If you had to build these using html code to create website, you may skip the idea altogether. However, using the BlueVoda website builder, you can create website that uses this element in a few short steps. The BV website builder tutorials are always available for further guidance on any topic. This website builder tutorial shows you all you need to know to configure your inline frame when you create website.

The left hand side tool bar has an icon called “iframes.” Use that icon to open the iframe. Drag the frame to anywhere on the page and resize it if needed using the outer handles. Double click open the ifram Properties Window. Give your frame a name in the website builder. This is only for your reference. Now you can enter urls and ALT text for each destination page. The website builder lets you select how and when to display the scroll bar. It is recommended that you select “Show Border” for the scroll bar feature when you create website so that the box will be more obvious on your web page. As always, when create website, write in the ALT Text in the case that your visitors browser cannot construct the image properly on their page. In order to let your visitor’s know that there is a component of your site that they are not able to view, use the ALT text to communicate this to them by writing something like “You browser does not support Inline Frames” or “Your browser may not be functioning properly at this time.”

When using the BV website builder to create website, you will not be able to view this element unless you view your web page changes in Preview mode or publish your webpage live. Once you have published the page on line, and exited the website builder, you will be able to view and test this new element. Make sure you go through all links to verify that each component of the element is functioning, as it should. You can make changes to your iframe anytime by returning to your website builder and double clicking on the element.

Create website is not only about communicating your information to your visitors. You can create website that is more successful if you also provide your visitors with additional information and links that can be valuable to them. Iframes are great for this purpose. The website builder offers the simplest way ever to add in this smart element, as well of hundreds of others. To get a better idea of all that the BV website builder has to offer when you create website, view the tutorials at www.bluevoda.com. The program and the tutorials are free. There is no reason to not start to create website right now!
